    Welder-Assembler


    Role and Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, the welder-assembler is responsible for carrying out the complete assembly and welding of black and stainless steel parts. The incumbent must master MIG arc welding processes.

    • Read and interpret industrial designs and plan the production of parts;
    • Shape, assemble, and couple sections and metal parts to form units;
    • Install and drive heavy equipment for metal, such as manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, tools used to shape, drill, or machine heavy metal parts;
    • Secure machined parts to the final product;
    • Assemble and weld equipment according to the plans provided;
    • Cut with oxycutting and plasma;
    • Gouge welds;
    • Apply distortion prevention techniques;
    • Perform all other related tasks.
